I am an AAW listed professional instructor, offering beginning through intermediate level instruction and consultation on a one-on-one basis.  Long term contracts are available.  My rates are:

At My Shop: 

Hourly: $50 per hour, $100 minimum.  I will provide materials and tools as needed, but recommend you use your own if you have them.  Be prepared to take notes and complete homework!

Daily: $250 flat fee for up to 6 hours instruction in one day, materials included, minimum of one hour and maximum four hours lathe time.  Turning tools provided, but recommend you use your own if you have them.  Be prepared to take notes and complete homework!

At Your Shop: 

Hourly: $40 per hour, $100 minimum, plus any travel expenses.  I can provide materials and tools if needed for a nominal additional fee.

Daily: $200 flat fee for up to 6 hours instruction in one day, plus any travel expenses, materials not included, minimum of one hour and maximum four hours lathe time.    I can provide materials and tools if needed for a nominal additional fee.

Consultation:

I will provide consultation and advice for shop layout, machine and tool selection, etc., at $30 per hour, $50 minimum, plus any travel expenses.

Hours will be billed in half-hour increments.  You are responsible for having working equipment if instruction is at your location.  Days are billed as units after the first hour of instruction is completed.  Travel expenses include mileage at the current IRS standard rate, and meals and lodging if needed.  ALL RATES AND TERMS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
